For their end of term trip out Lower School went to the New Walk Museum in Leicester.
The boys took part in an Egyptian workshop at the Museum to back up and fully embed the terms topic of Ancient Egypt.
They became relic hunters and got the opportunity to discover what they thought certain artefacts were and what they could be used for. As well as making amulets, trying on clothes and dissecting an ancient mummy and putting the insides in the appropriate canopic jars!
The Instructor there said she was impressed with the amount of knowledge the boys came forward with during her talks and how eloquently they were able to answer her questions.
A great day was had by all.
