Life through a lens – with Vocational Plus

Year 12 pupil Kayne has been building up his Wider Key Skills portfolio by looking through a camera lens, taking up Photography as part of his Vocational Plus studies.

Since returning after the summer holidays, Kayne has confidently moved away from the limited capabilities of ‘auto’ and developed his skills by using a camera in ‘manual mode’, with teacher Sharon Komrska-Clark-Monks.

He has been studying how to alter ISO, Aperture, Shutter Speed and the exposure triangle to suit different lighting situations – and is very proud of his work so far! Kayne would like to own and run his own Photography studio in the future.
