Children in Need

Pupils across the Upper and Lower School sites gathered at break time today to participate in our annual raffle, cake bake and fundraising for Children in Need.

Our new Deputy Head, Jonathan Sleath, helped Teaching Assistant Team Leader Lesley Bath as her glamorous assistant, calling out the raffle tickets – and there were shouts of delight amongst the staff and pupils when their winning numbers were called. Our new Upper School student Sam did particularly well, winning more than 4 prizes!

Some of the teachers, Teaching Assistants and students chose to come in fancy dress; there were lots of Pudsey impersonators, a couple of Harry Potters and Lower School pupils Callum and Ryan impressed us by dressing up as Ace Ventura Pet Detective and Willy Wonka! Mrs McKenna, Head of Lower School, gets a special mention for dressing as Mary Poppins, as well as Miss Roche as Ana from Frozen!

At the first count we have raised about £360 so far, with donations still coming in. Well done everyone!
